Catriona inalmahan ‘kapalpakan’ sa Bb. Pilipinas
Hindi hinayaan ng Cornerstone Management na magkaroon ng pagdududa sa kanilang dalawang alagang beauty queen na sina Catriona Gray at Nicole Cordoves dahil sa pagka-delay ng announcement sa resulta ng Binibining Pilipinas 2022.
Marami kasi ang nag-tweet, nag-post ng mga comment, nagtatanong kung may mali ba sa naging announcement ng mga winner. Kaya mas lalong nag-isip, lalo na ang mga fan ni Herlene Budol na siya ang talagang winner at hindi 1strunner-up lang.
Sinagot na agad ng Cornerstone ang mga haka-haka tungkol dito bago pa siguro mas lumalim at isipin talaga, lalo na ng mga netizens na may anomalyang naganap.
Sa pamamagitan din ng kanyang social media accounts tulad ng Facebook at Instagram ay nag-post din ng kanyang statement si Catriona na siyang host at nag-announce ng winner.

“As the hosts of last night’s Binibining Pilipinas 2022, @binibiningnicolecordoves and I announced the winners accordingly based on the titles printed on the individual title cards as these were handed over by SGV & Co. partner and representative, Mr. Ocho.
“As a member of the overseeing committee during the deliberations (as pictured on slide 4 by BPCI Execom member @laraquigaman), Mr. Ocho later rechecked the cards and confirmed that the results previously announced were correct, which became the decisive factor in moving forward with the announcement.
“As former candidates ourselves, we understand what the girls go through and would, therefore—without a second thought—correct any errors, if any were made. But as already explained, SGV & Co. partner and representative Mr. Ocho himself confirmed the validity of the results.
“Let’s celebrate our Queens who are wearing their rightful crowns. Congratulations to our new @bbpilipinasofficial Queens! I’m so excited to witness your journeys and I know you will make our country proud!!”
Nagpasalamat naman ang ilang pageant enthusiasts sa paglilinaw raw na ito ni Catriona dahil deserve nilang malaman ang totoo.
Pero siyempre may iba pa rin na nagdududa, at may kapalpakan daw talaga na nangyari.

Tinuldukan na ni Nicole Herlene Budol ang kanyang beauty pageant journey. ‘Yun ay kung hindi na magbabago ang isip niya sa naging sagot niya sa kapwa beauty queen na si MJ Lastimosa.
Rooting si MJ kay Herlene na mag-join daw itong muli hanggang sa makuha ang korona. Pero, negative na ang sagot ni Herlene. Mukhang mas desidido na nga ito na after ng Binibining Pilipinas, mag-focus na siyang muli sa kanyang showbiz career.
Ang tweet kasi ni MJ, “Chinika ko si Budol Sabi ko proud ako sayo ang galing mong sumagot! Sumali ka pa ulit. Sagot nya: last ko na to ate. Aww why naman langga.”
Ilan sa mga comment ng netizens sa tweet na ito ni MJ, tipong kailangan na raw kasing magbawi ni Herlene dahil malaki raw ang ginastos ng manager nito, which is, si Wilbert Tolentino.
“I remember nasabi niya or ng manager niya yata before na first & last competition niya ito kaya parang do or die ang peg, all out ang support online & paandar. Baka need niya pagtrabahuhan din. In fairness, hakot awards naman. The brands may be profiting from her large followers.”
“Madaling bawiin yung nagastos ni Wilbert at YouTuber si Hipon bawing bawi yan ginastos nila.”
“Wala actually paki manager nya kung mababayaran ba yan ni hipon o hindi. I think si Wilbert competitive talaga sya na tao, ibubuhos nya lahat para sa mga alaga nya.”
